Insert one end of a post through a hole in a cinder block and then into the opposite hole. Space each post to your liking or to fit your cushions. This simple diy construction is a nice garden bench made from concrete blocks and a headboard. Two blocks on each side and a headboard placed inclined for more comfort.

Move the two cinder block structures approximately 5 feet apart. Secure the spacers to the longer boards with 2 1 2 inch decking screws. Build a form to cast the concrete bench legs. My posts were just under 2 feet apart from each other.
